Overview

The Road Transport Forum NZ Inc Annual Conference is the most significant and important event in the industry’s calendar; this forum is the only opportunity during the year where members can congregate in a single location.

RTF Conference is hosted in turn by the regional RTA's which ensures that the industry’s show case event affordably reaches all of its members throughout NZ. Conferences have been well supported over the past and this is expected to continue in 2012.

RTF Conference is the opportunity for members to review the achievements over the preceding year, the issues ahead and to voice their preferences and priorities as to future management and direction. Importantly it is an opportunity for the industry to acquaint themselves with technical developments in products and services and to make their choices on future direction.

RTF Conference offers the opportunity for industry members to renew old acquaintances, network and mingle with friends and colleagues and to discuss and share their experiences in a relaxing environment. The highlights of any conference is the interaction as a part of the social program; Rotorua has on offer a number of unique attractions that will play host to an exciting array of events for you and your spouses’ entertainment and enjoyment.

Theme

The Conference theme “Building a Better Business - with a road to the future” was chosen because it has been a hard few years for the transport sector and the time has come to develop a productive way forward for the transport sector. This conference will provide you with the opportunity to understand the key challenges facing you and your business and a unique opportunity to be part of how, as a transport sector, we solve these challenges in the future. It will provide you with a practical learning opportunity for you to build a better business and succeed.

This is very much a working conference, where we expect great discussion, and debate, with a range of workshops and seminars that will collectively produce great ideas to assist the industry and allow you to build a better business.

Mobile Application

We are excited to advise that a new smart phone application will be available at the RTF Conference and can be used on the internet and all smartphones. This app will provide information on the conference and social programme, regular updates, session room plans, speaker, sponsor and exhibitor profiles and can be used to add calendar information to you diary (by creating your own itinerary on the device/app). Below are just some of the uses for this application.
